UPDATED: Never too Old!

Relocities are nearing the conclusion of the oldest and possibly smallest relocation we have handled throughout our 20-year history. We were approached by Christine, a very spritely 78-year-old from Malta, who had decided the time was now right to move back to Oxfordshire after a 25-year absence as she missed her children and ever growing number of grandchildren!

Our local Oxfordshire Client Manager was on the case immediately and within the day had sourced several options, one of which, on paper, looked ideal. Day two Christine had selected it and contracts were agreed. Our experienced contracts team went through all the paperwork/contracts and removals, flights and collection from the airport all put in place. Meanwhile our ‘Lifestyle team’ were preparing Christine’s new home with those personal touches that make all the difference.

Postscript: After collecting Christine at Heathrow Airport we found out that she was on the very last flight out of Malta before the airport was closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. As a precaution, Christine has spent the last three weeks in self-isolation at her daughter's home, and finally moved into her retirement apartment on April 8th. She say's she loves it and is already making new friends (from a suitable distance!)
